This shloka is taken from the second chapter of Geeta. It means that O Arjun, if you die in the war, you will get heaven and if you win, you will get the bread of the earth. That is why get up and decide who you are and fight the war with determination. Arjun was also in a state of doubt like you about what to do. On one hand, it was a question of his and his family's honor and on the other hand, he had to fight the war with his own brothers, friends and teachers, whose testimony he was not giving. Then Lord Krishna explained to him that in the war of Dharma, one has to choose a side. Because after a time, keeping quiet for justice is not wisdom but cowardice. By reciting this. I am not inciting violence against anyone. Rather, I am trying to understand the meaning of t...

MAN KI SHANTI ( Bhagwat Geeta)

Image
।" (padha vihay kaman yah karvanpumanshcharati nispruha nirmamo nirahankar sa shantimadhigachati..")    “jo manushy kaamanaon ko tyaagakar, bina ichchha ke, bina aasakti ke aur bina ahankaar ke chalata hua padhata hai, use shaanti praapt hotee hai.  (Read, leaving behind desires, this man walks without desire, without attachment and without ego, he attains peace.) MAN KHA SHANTI  In the verse, Lord Krishna has told Arjun that only that person who abandons all desires and wishes and performs his duties without attachment and without any ego gets peace. Now listen to its meaning in simple words. When we do any work, whether it is our daily work or work like helping someone, we do it with any kind of selfishness or ego. Then we do not get any peace from that work. Now like we want to help someone, if seen, it is a very good idea. But along with this we also think that we should be p...

KRODH KA UPAAY (BHAGWAT GEETA)
